Meet The Dogs
ROSIE
“Though she be but little, she is fierce!”
Rosie was found as a stray and brought to the San Bernadino City Animal shelter, where we eventually found her. Famous for her “hugs”, Rosie is a lover of all people. Always up for an adventure, Rosie is just happy to be involved and would do best in a home where she can be included in many activities (even if that activity is just sitting on the couch!)
Walks nicely on a leash!
Uninterested in other dogs/neutral
Untested around cats
CYPRESS
Cypress was found as a stray in Coachella Valley, California.
An incredibly handsome Malinois, he lives up to his name – cypress trees are known for their strength and resilience!
Cypress has a fantastic on/off switch and will settle easily at your feet.
Social with people, loves to give hugs and kisses.
Walks nicely on a leash!
Uninterested in other dogs/neutral
Untested around cats
STEVIE
Miss Stevie AKA Stevie Nicks was scheduled to be euthanized before Off-Leash Second Chance stepped in and rescued this gorgeous girl! Stevie has a great ball drive, is always up for a run, and has a super spunky and sassy personality. While she does love to run and play, she has a great “off” switch and settles nicely in a crate.
Walks nicely on-leash!
Appears to have a strong prey drive – not recommended for a home with cat
Would do best in an active home – possible sport/working dog candidate
PURDY
Sweet Purdy girl was scheduled to be euthanized after being found as a stray. While she was microchipped and has a registered birthday, no one came to the shelter to claim her.
Purdy is incredibly sweet and gentle, but shy. Purdy presents some behavioral quirks that suggest she may have been abused in the past. Nevertheless, she warms up quickly and makes herself right at home!
Would do best in a home with another confident dog (male preferred)
Tested around toddlers – completely unphased by young children!
Would do best in a home that has the time and resources to continue training and further socialization
Purdy has a damaged canine tooth that, while presenting no current problems, will need to be removed at some point in the future
BURRATA
Burrata is our youngest and sweetest rescue! Coming to us at only nine months old, Burrata has spent most of his young life in the shelter system. He is an outgoing and happy guy with lots of puppy energy, and has been a favorite of volunteers, veterinary staff, and everyone else he meets!
Will need continued training with basic obedience
Loves all other dogs – very social – definitely a (structured) dog daycare candidate!
If You’re Interested in Fostering or Adopting
We are always looking for folks to open up their homes to the dogs in our pack!
Whether temporarily or for the life of a dog, we couldn’t do it without the help of our fosters and adopters.
