Every Dog Deserves a Second Chance

Off Leash Second Chance was born from one powerful moment: a single video of a shelter dog named Whiskey, just days away from being euthanized. That video sparked a cross-country rescue and a mission to save more lives. We specialize in pulling Belgian Malinois and other at-risk dogs from overcrowded, high-kill shelters in California and transporting them to loving homes in New England, where they’re given the second chance they deserve.

Our work goes beyond rescue. We advocate for systemic change—supporting access to low-cost vet care, housing stability for pet owners, and policies that help keep dogs out of shelters to begin with.
